Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the Zuora platform, encompassing Billing, Subscription Management, Payments, and Finance settings.
Lead and execute complex Zuora product configurations, ensuring alignment with business requirements and scalability.
Design, implement, and manage sophisticated Zuora Billing and Finance configurations, optimizing for accuracy and efficiency.
Develop and implement robust workflow management solutions within and around the Zuora ecosystem.
Provide expert guidance and hands-on support for Zuora Billing processes, troubleshooting issues and implementing solutions.
Lead and contribute to the implementation of Quote to Cash (QTC), CPQ, and Billing solutions, leveraging 5+ years of relevant experience.
Demonstrate a deep understanding of Subscription Business Models and Consumption Subscription Billing within the Zuora context.
Architect and implement seamless integrations between Zuora and other critical business systems, including Salesforce, Netsuite, SAP, Oracle, Vertex, Avalara, banks (e.g., JPM, BOA), and payment gateways (e.g., Stripe, Adyen).
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Finance, Engineering, Product) to gather requirements, design solutions, and ensure successful implementation and adoption of Zuora functionalities.
Stay up-to-date with the latest Zuora features, updates, and best practices, proactively recommending and implementing improvements.
Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation related to Zuora configurations, processes, and integrations.
Provide training and support to internal teams on Zuora functionalities and best practices.
Qualifications:
Required Certifications: Certified Zuora Administrator. Additional relevant technical certifications are highly desirable.
Expertise: Expert-level skill in Zuora product configuration, billing, and finance settings with over 10+ years of hands-on experience.
Zuora Billing Experience: Proven expertise in Zuora Billing, Subscription Management, Payments, Integration, and Billing/Finance configuration with at least 5+ years of dedicated experience in Zuora Billing.
Implementation Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of experience in the implementation of Quote to Cash (QTC), CPQ, and Billing solutions.
Subscription Business Model Expertise: Deep understanding and practical experience with Subscription Business Models and Consumption Subscription Billing within Zuora.
Integration Expertise: Rich experience in integrating Zuora with various enterprise systems, including CRM (e.g., Salesforce), ERP (e.g., Netsuite, SAP, Oracle), Tax engines (e.g., Vertex, Avalara), banks (e.g., JPM, BOA), and payment gateways (e.g., Stripe, Adyen).
Consulting Experience: Prior experience working for consulting partners is highly preferred, demonstrating the ability to work with diverse clients and complex implementations.
Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues within the Zuora platform.
Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Collaboration Skills: Proven ability to work effectively in a collaborative, remote team environment.
Self-Motivation: Highly self-motivated and able to manage tasks and priorities independently.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Zuora Revenue.
Familiarity with agile methodologies.
Experience with data migration and cleansing related to Zuora implementations.
