Roles and Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain Workday solutions, including configurations, integrations, and customizations to meet business requirements.
- Lead technical discussions and collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions within the Workday platform.
- Architect and implement technical Workday solutions that align with Lloyds Banking Group best practices, security standards, and performance requirements.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members, supporting their professional development and growth.
- Conduct code reviews and drive continuous improvement in development methodologies and technical processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues to ensure system stability and reliability.
- Monitor Workday platform updates and industry trends, evaluating their impact on existing implementations.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, analyse business processes, and propose innovative solutions leveraging Workday capabilities.
Experience Requirements:
- 5 years of hands-on experience in Workday HCM, Financials, or other modules as a software engineer.
- Strong expertise in Workday tools including Workday Studio, Report Writer, Business Process Framework, Calculated Fields, Document Transformation, EIB, and Core Connectors.
- Awareness of Workday Extend and Workday Security within integrations.
- Proficiency in programming languages like Java, JavaScript, or similar, with practical experience developing Workday Studio-based solutions.
- Familiarity with the broader Workday ecosystem and functional modules.
- Proven ability to architect complex, scalable, and secure Workday solutions.
- Experience collaborating with business stakeholders as a Subject Matter Expert.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative with minimal supervision.
- Knowledge of the Workday roadmap and upcoming features.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities for addressing complex business and technical challenges.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with a strong record of mentoring junior team members.
- Solid understanding of database design and data manipulation.
- Effective communication skills for presenting technical concepts to non-technical audiences and working with diverse teams.
- Workday certifications such as Workday Pro or Workday Integration are an advantage.
