WordPress and Shopify Developer

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain WordPress and Shopify websites, ensuring optimal performance and user experience.
• Customize and develop WordPress themes and plugins to meet specific client needs.
• Build and customize Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Integrate third-party services and APIs into WordPress and Shopify platforms.
• Optimize websites for mobile responsiveness, SEO, and fast loading times.
• Manage e-commerce functionalities including product catalogs, payment gateways, and shipping methods.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues related to both WordPress and Shopify sites.
• Stay up to date with the latest developments in WordPress, Shopify, and e-commerce technologies.
• Collaborate with designers and project managers to meet project goals and deadlines.

Requirements and skills :

• Proficiency in WordPress development, including theme customization, plugin development, and WooCommerce integration.
• Expertise in Shopify development, including Liquid templating, theme customization, and Shopify Apps.
• Strong understanding of PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and MySQL.
• Experience with API integration, especially RESTful services.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
• Knowledge of SEO best practices and website optimization techniques.
• Experience with responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field is preferred.
