Job Duties
Configure and maintain wireless/data networks, and servers. Evaluate performance of chipsets within NextGen routers.
- Use knowledge of IP routing, wireless access and data analytics techniques to quickly access and resolve wireless service impairments.
- Analyze the CPU and memory utilization and Performance of Residential routers within the service provider space.
- Test planning, test automation design, white box testing, unit testing, and non-functional testing such as performance, reliability, and security.
- Develop test cases based on those requirements, create, update, execute test plans and test cases.
- Identify manual and automation use cases. Log defects in the defect tracking systems and document results.
- Work on E2E pre-pod network setups within lower environments as proof of concepts (PoCs).
- Assist in documentation of technical standards.
Requirements
Must have Master's degree or its foreign equivalent in Electronics Engineering or Electrical Engineering or Engineering Management and 1 year experience in job offered or as a wireless test engineer.
- Experience must include working with wireless architecture, network design, installation, and troubleshooting LAN, WAN and WLAN services, NRFU and ORT testing, using Ekahau tool.
