Windows/Azure Systems Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled Windows/Azure Systems Architect with Team Lead experience to design, implement, and manage enterprise-level IT infrastructure solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Windows server engineering, virtualization, cloud platforms, and endpoint management, with a proven track record of leading technical teams to deliver robust, scalable systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Architecture Design: Develop and maintain secure, high-performance Windows and Azure-based infrastructure solutions tailored to business needs.
• Server Management: Oversee Windows Server environments, ensuring optimal performance, security, and scalability through expertise in Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and Active Directory.
• Cloud Integration: Architect and manage Azure-based solutions, including IaaS, PaaS, and hybrid cloud deployments, ensuring seamless integration with on-premises systems.
• Virtualization: Design and implement virtualization solutions using VMware and manage backup/recovery processes with Veeam.
• Endpoint Management: Administer Microsoft 365 (O365) and Intune for device management, security, and compliance across the organization.
• Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of systems engineers, fostering collaboration, driving project delivery, and ensuring adherence to best practices.
• Security & Compliance: Implement and enforce security policies, ensuring compliance with industry standards and organizational requirements.
• Troubleshooting & Optimization: Provide advanced troubleshooting for complex infrastructure issues and optimize systems for performance and cost efficiency.
• Documentation & Training: Create detailed technical documentation and provide training to team members and stakeholders.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 7+ years in Windows server engineering and 3+ years in a Team Lead or supervisory role.
• Technical Expertise:
  • Advanced knowledge of Windows Server administration (2016/2019/2022), including Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP.
  • Proficiency in Azure cloud services, including Azure AD, Virtual Machines, and networking.
  • Extensive experience with VMware vSphere and ESXi for virtualization.
  • Expertise in Veeam Backup & Replication for data protection and disaster recovery.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 (O365) administration, including Exchange, Teams, and SharePoint.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune for endpoint management and security.
• Leadership: Proven ability to lead technical teams, manage projects, and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
• Certifications (preferred): Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, MCSE, VMware VCP, or equivalent.
• Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with PowerShell scripting for automation.
• Familiarity with ITIL frameworks and DevOps practices.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).
• Experience with hybrid cloud environments and migrations
