Candidates must have a minimum of 5-7 years of hands-on experience in Windows System Administration in large scale environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer, maintain, and optimize Windows Server environments (2016/2019/2022).
- Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and Windows patching.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.
- Implement, support, and maintain backup/recovery solutions and disaster recovery plans.
- Install, configure, and maintain SQL Server environments.
- Write and optimize SQL queries and scripts for system automation and reporting.
- Collaborate with development and application teams to ensure system compatibility and performance.
- Collaborate with customers, adjacent technical teams, and all levels of management to address systems issues.
- Maintain security best practices, including system hardening and vulnerability management.
- Produce documentation for system configurations, procedures, and change controls.
Qualifications:
- 5–7 years of experience in Windows system administration in mid to large-scale environments.
- Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server (installation, maintenance, scripting, performance tuning).
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation.
- Higher level of familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V and Nutanix).
- Understanding of network fundamentals (TCP/IP, firewalls, VPNs).
- Knowledge of ITIL practices and change management processes is a plus.
