Windows Automation Engineer

Responsibilities:

Workflow: Come up with a workflow from getting the request for a new application or package from users to sourcing the same, scanning for security vulnerability, making it available on Nexus
Automation: Automate or providing scripts for the users to download and install the required package onto the VDIs.
Monitoring and Maintenance: Monitor the currency of the tools/Packages to make the n+1 version available or decommission any obsolete tools.
Collaboration: Work closely with Infrastructure, Vulnerability/Security, L2 and dependent CLS teams to define and operationalize the process.
Documentation: Create and maintain documentation to support the process and user guides for installing or trouble shooting
Innovation: Stay updated with the latest technologies and best practices in platform engineering, tool development.
Security: Implement security and CLS sourcing compliance measures from the tools being identified up to making it available on Nexus
Training and Support: Provide training and support to team members to support this service and mitigate resource dependency
