Windows and Linux Administrator

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Windows and Linux Administrator with 4 to 6 years of experience to join operations support team. This role involves working in rotational US shifts, supporting critical business operations across hybrid IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain Windows Server (2012, 2016, 2019, 2022) environments.
• Install, configure, and maintain Linux systems (Red Hat, CentOS, Ubuntu, or similar distributions).
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls in Linux environments.
• Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policies, and file servers.
• Implement and manage clustering and high-availability solutions in Windows environments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Windows OS, patch management, and security.
• Perform troubleshooting and resolution of Linux-based system issues.
• Monitor system performance, security, and availability while optimizing resources.
• Automate routine administrative tasks using scripting tools.
• Manage virtualization platforms such as VMware or Hyper-V.
• Perform patch management, vulnerability remediation, and ensure compliance with security standards
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy infrastructure projects and provide support

Technical Skills:

• Strong expertise in Windows Server and Linux administration.
• Familiarity with virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
• Basic scripting knowledge
• Understanding of network protocols, firewall configurations, and IT security principles.
