Windows Administrator

Role Overview:

• The Windows Administrator is responsible for managing, maintaining, and troubleshooting Windows-based systems and infrastructure.
• This role involves ensuring system security, optimizing performance, and providing technical support to end users and IT teams.

Mandatory Skills:

• 3+ years’ experience as administrator.
• DevOps/Linux Engineer - 3+ years
• Middleware Admin - 3+ years
• Environment Management - 3+ years
• GB Facets - 2+ years
• Domain Experience (If any) – Healthcare

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain Windows servers and workstations.
• Manage Active Directory (AD), Group Policies, and user account administration.
• Manage backups, disaster recovery, and system restoration procedures.
• Configure and maintain network services (DNS, DHCP, VPN, etc.).
• Implement and support virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
• Support cloud-based Windows environments (Azure, AWS) when applicable.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Windows Administrator or in a similar role.
• Knowledge of Windows Server (2016/2019/2022) and Windows 10/11.
• Experience managing Active Directory, Group Policies, DNS, and DHCP.
• Familiarity with PowerShell scripting for automation.
• Knowledge of virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
• Understanding of cloud-based environments (Azure, AWS) is a plus.
• Experience with backup and disaster recovery solutions.
