Role Overview:
- The Windows Administrator is responsible for managing, maintaining, and troubleshooting Windows-based systems and infrastructure.
- This role involves ensuring system security, optimizing performance, and providing technical support to end users and IT teams.
Mandatory Skills:
- 3+ years’ experience as administrator.
- DevOps/Linux Engineer - 3+ years
- Middleware Admin - 3+ years
- Environment Management - 3+ years
- GB Facets - 2+ years
- Domain Experience (If any) – Healthcare
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain Windows servers and workstations.
- Manage Active Directory (AD), Group Policies, and user account administration.
- Manage backups, disaster recovery, and system restoration procedures.
- Configure and maintain network services (DNS, DHCP, VPN, etc.).
- Implement and support virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
- Support cloud-based Windows environments (Azure, AWS) when applicable.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Windows Administrator or in a similar role.
- Knowledge of Windows Server (2016/2019/2022) and Windows 10/11.
- Experience managing Active Directory, Group Policies, DNS, and DHCP.
- Familiarity with PowerShell scripting for automation.
- Knowledge of virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
- Understanding of cloud-based environments (Azure, AWS) is a plus.
- Experience with backup and disaster recovery solutions.
