About the Role:
As a Windchill System Administrator, you will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of Windchill software and its associated applications. You will monitor system performance, provide technical support, and collaborate with IT and engineering teams to facilitate system improvements. This role offers the opportunity to manage key system functionalities and enhance overall data security.
This is a 6-month B2B contract based in Meyrin, Switzerland, with the possibility of an extension.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain Windchill software and associated applications.
- Monitor system performance to ensure uptime and reliability.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for end-users.
- Manage user accounts and permissions within the Windchill system.
- Develop and implement backup and recovery procedures.
- Ensure data integrity and security within the Windchill environment.
- Collaborate with IT and engineering teams on system enhancements.
- Perform regular system audits and updates to maintain compliance with industry standards.
- Create and manage documentation for system configurations and procedures.
- Conduct training sessions for staff on Windchill usage and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Windchill administration and support.
- Strong knowledge of Windchill architecture, modules, and functionalities.
- Experience with Windchill customization using Java, JSP, and XML.
- Proficiency in SQL and database management.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Fluent in English and French.
