WebSphere Commerce Developer

Responsibilities

• Design, Plan and implement solutions in eco system which consist Extended sites model involving B2B and B2C business models.
• Work with the agile team on grooming the backlog and coming up with technical tasks for the stories.
• Anticipate issues and risks at the module level and escalate appropriately.
• Ability to interact with the product owner and scrum master to understand and propose out-of-box capabilities and possible extensions to the framework.

Required Skills

• Strong understanding of WebSphere commerce application architecture and able to provide right design – decisions.
• Nice-to-have skills: WebSphere CommerceV8/ v9, ICP, Kubenetes, SAML.
• Knowledge in SOLR integration product search concepts.
• Knowledge of XML, WSDL and XSD.
• Technical leadership skills for managing a track of work and defining a comprehensive solution leading toward a common vision.
• Ability to translate high technical solutions/problems to audiences at varying technical levels.
• Strong ability to prepare and present technical documentation.

Required Experience

• Strong (7+yrs) experience on WebSphere Commerce v8.x programming/application development.
• Experience building WebSphere Commerce applications using Web Sphere Commerce toolkit, RAD.
• Experience with web services technologies such as SOAP, REST, JCA, Jax-ws.
• Experience with Shell scripting and Javascript libraries such as JQuery /DOJO.
• Experience on Java/JEE technologies such as JSP, JSTL, JDBC and JAXB.
• Experience with Ant, Maven build scripts and Jenkins based CI/CD process.
• Experience with SVN/GIT/Github/BitBucket for source code management.

Education Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a closely related field.
