The candidate will work closely with the IT Web Services and Communications teams, ensuring smooth transitions of web content and functionality. Key responsibilities include:
Web design, content management via Drupal CMS, and ensuring compliance with WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility standards.
Expertise in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, SEO, and website optimization.
Coordination with content managers, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring accessibility compliance.
Minimum Qualifications:
7+ years of experience in web administration and design for large-scale websites.
7+ years of experience with Drupal CMS (content creation, taxonomy, and navigation).
Strong portfolio showcasing complex web design and user-centered design principles.
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and back-end integration.
Deep knowledge of WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility standards and testing tools.
Experience in remediating accessibility issues and optimizing website SEO and performance.
Familiarity with responsive design and mobile-first strategies.
Excellent communication skills and ability to translate technical information for non-technical stakeholders.
