Wave Test Technician

MAIN SKILLS – Degree in electronics, 3-5 years of experience in hands on RF test and measurement, RF test and measurement methodology and equipment in the 28GHz to 39GHz frequency range, Experience with spectrum analyzers, signal generators, network analyzers, cellular call boxes, load pull tuners, oscilloscopes, DC power supplies, Experience with radiated measurements of mmWave products, Experience running long characterization efforts on RF components or systems using fully automated test setups, Scripting and script debug experience is a plus (Python, Matlab, etc.), Experience with data analysis tools is a plus (Tableau, Excel, Matlab, etc.), familiarity with reading schematics and reviewing PCB layouts is a plus.

Key qualifications

• Associates degree or higher in electronics, or 3-5 years of experience in hands on RF test and measurement.

• Experience in RF test and measurement methodology and equipment in the 28GHz to 39GHz frequency range.

• Experience with spectrum analyzers, signal generators, network analyzers, cellular call boxes, load pull tuners, oscilloscopes, DC power supplies.

• Experience with radiated measurements of mmWave products.

• Experience running long characterization efforts on RF components or systems using fully automated test setups.

• Scripting and script debug experience is a plus (Python, Matlab, etc.).

• Experience with data analysis tools is a plus (Tableau, Excel, Matlab, etc.).

• Basic familiarity with reading schematics and reviewing PCB layouts is a plus.
