VMWare L3/L4 Engineer

Seeking a highly skilled L3/L4 VMware Engineer with extensive experience in VMware virtualization technologies, advanced troubleshooting skills, and a deep understanding of enterprise-level infrastructure. This role involves implementing, and maintaining VMware environments, as well as providing expert-level support to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

 Key Responsibilities:

• VMware Infrastructure Management:
  • Deploy, and manage VMware vSphere environments.
  • Perform advanced configuration and optimization of VMware infrastructure.
  • Implement and manage vCenter Server, ESXi hosts, and virtual machines.
• Troubleshooting and Support:
  • Provide L3/L4 support for VMware-related issues, including performance tuning and capacity planning.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex technical problems related to VMware infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with L1/L2 support teams to escalate and resolve issues promptly.
• Performance and Security:
  • Monitor system performance and ensure high availability and reliability of VMware environments.
  • Implement and maintain security best practices within VMware infrastructure.
  • Conduct regular system audits and vulnerability assessments.
• Disaster Recovery and Backup:
  • Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans for VMware environments.
  • Ensure regular backups and replication of virtual machines and data.
• Documentation and Training:
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation of VMware infrastructure, configurations, and procedures.
• Provide training and knowledge transfer to junior engineers and support staff.
