Vmware Engineer

Key Skills: VCenter, VMware.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and maintain VMware virtual infrastructure.
• Administer and troubleshoot VMware vCenter and ESXi environments.
• Automate workflows using vRealize Orchestrator (vRO).
• Ensure system performance, reliability, and security.
• Perform capacity planning and disaster recovery planning.
• Collaborate with teams to resolve technical issues and optimize infrastructure.
• Maintain and upgrade VMware tools and platforms to ensure compliance and performance.
• Monitor virtual machine health, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
• Support migrations and infrastructure transformations as per project requirements.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for configurations, procedures, and changes.

Experience Required:

• 5 - 8 years of experience in managing and configuring VMware vCenter, ESXi hosts, and vRealize Orchestrator (vRO).
• Proficient in automation of infrastructure tasks and workflow orchestration.
• Demonstrated expertise in virtual machine provisioning, template management, and troubleshooting.
• Solid understanding of HA, DRS, and storage configuration in a VMware environment.
• Experienced in handling infrastructure upgrades and patching in a live production setup.
• Skilled in performance tuning and resolving capacity or latency issues.

Education: Any Graduation
