VMware AWS Architect

We are seeking an experienced Senior Developer to drive the design, development, and implementation for the new VMware Workloads on AWS service. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of cloud platforms, VMware technologies, and AWS services, combined with strong programming and automation skills to deliver a seamless solution. This role demands a deep understanding of VMware and AWS ecosystems and the ability to architect scalable and efficient solutions.
 

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:
 

• Solution Design: Lead the design of a robust architecture for VMware Workloads on AWS, ensuring compliance with organizational goals and industry best practices.
   
• POC Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and execute a POC for VMware Workloads on AWS.
   
• Integration: Develop and implement integrations between VMware and AWS services, ensuring smooth data flow and workload migration.
   
• Automation: Create scripts and automation tools for provisioning, scaling, and managing VMware workloads on AWS.
   
• Optimization: Optimize the performance, reliability, and scalability of VMware workloads hosted on AWS.
   
• Documentation: Prepare detailed technical documentation, including design blueprints, test cases, and user guides.
   
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical issues during the POC and implementation phases.
   

Qualifications:
 

• Proven experience with VMware technologies (vSphere, NSX, vSAN).
   
• Strong expertise in AWS services (EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, etc.).
   
• Proficiency in programming/scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Terraform, CFT etc).
   
• Familiarity with hybrid cloud architectures and workload migration strategies.
   
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
   
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
   
• AWS Certification (Solutions Architect) and VMware Certification are highly preferred
