Visual Designer for Power BI Dashboards

Job Summary:

We are looking for a visual designer who can create engaging and informative dashboards in Power BI. You will work with our data analysts and business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into clear and compelling visualizations. You will also ensure that the dashboards are consistent with our brand guidelines and best practices for data visualization.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop dashboards in Power BI that communicate key insights and trends from various data sources
• Collaborate with data analysts, Power BI developers (programmers) and business stakeholders to define the requirements and scope of the dashboards
• Apply user-centered design principles and data visualization best practices to create intuitive and effective dashboards
• Ensure that the dashboards are aligned with the designated style guides and standards
• Test and refine the dashboards based on project team and/or user feedback and data quality
• Document and maintain the dashboards and their data sources.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in graphic design, visual communication, or related field
• At least 3 years of experience in designing and developing dashboards in Power BI or similar tools
• Proficient in using Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, and Power BI Mobile
• Strong knowledge of data visualization principles and techniques
• Ability to create custom visuals and themes in Power BI
• Experience in working with various data sources and formats, such as SQL, Excel, CSV, JSON, etc.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Attention to detail and quality
• Portfolio of previous dashboard projects
