Vice President - AI Lead

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of end-to-end AI/ML systems in production environments.
• Build and guide high-performing AI teams, fostering innovation and engineering excellence.
• Drive reliability, scalability, and maintainability in AI solutions across the full delivery lifecycle.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data, platform, and full-stack engineers to deliver integrated AI solutions.
• Champion best practices in MLOps, including CI/CD for ML, model versioning, deployment, and monitoring.
• Ensure AI solutions are well-architected, reusable, and aligned with business processes and enterprise architecture standards.
• Participate in engineering reviews and drive reusability, quality, and continuous improvement.
• Navigate and deliver solutions amidst evolving business priorities and ambiguity, with a strong bias for action.
• Engage with industry forums and stay ahead of emerging AI trends, technologies, and regulatory concerns.
• Advocate for ethical and responsible AI practices, ensuring privacy, security, and model explainability.

Experience Requirements:

• Proven track record in leading the development and productionization of advanced AI/ML systems.
• Strong leadership experience in managing and mentoring AI/ML teams.
• Hands-on expertise with deep learning, NLP, LLMs, and classical ML techniques.
• Solid experience with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, or Azure), production ML pipelines, and MLOps practices.
• Familiarity with large-scale datasets, distributed processing (e.g., Spark, Beam), and real-time data environments.
• Extensive experience in model experimentation, tuning, optimization, and statistical evaluation.
• Proficient in working with APIs, full-stack system integration, and delivering AI features in productized environments.
• Knowledge of ethical AI, privacy-aware development, and secure model deployment practices.
