Vendor Master Data Analyst

Description:
This position is NonExempt. Hours over 40 will be paid at Time and a Half. 
Analyzes financial data and projects financial condition based on past performance and present earnings; reviews proposals and prepares analysis of feasibility and profitability. 
4-6 years of experience.

The Opportunity 
Our location in Abbott Park, IL, currently has an opportunity for a  Vendor Master Data Analyst. The candidate will update and maintain supplier master data, including act as system support.  

Purpose of this Role & Key Requirements / Day to Day life:
Anyone with SAP or Viva experience creating and maintaining vendor master data reports. For the completion of the order procedure, someone must pay close attention to detail. If they have experience in AP, AR, or finance, which is not important, we will train them for this position.

What You’ll Work On:
•    Contact internal and external stakeholders to verify critical data to prevent fraud
•    Become familiar with primary Master Data Governance (MDG) system and act as system support for internal stakeholders
•    Develop subject matter expertise 
•    Support team in activities with local and global impact
•    Requires capacity to understand specific needs or requirements to apply skills/knowledge

•    Capacity for finding process improvement in current operation

Desired Qualifications/ Top Skills:
•    Business, Finance, or related fields of study
•    1+ years experience in AP, AR, or finance

•    Data or analysis exp is fine or we will teach them for training
•    Knowledge or experience in SAP or VIVA or ARIBA

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent experience (Also if this project is converted to fulltime, bachelors is required
