About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Varicent ICM Developer to support the implementation and optimization of a Partner Incentive Compensation Program. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Varicent’s Incentive Compensation Management (ICM) platform and a deep understanding of designing, developing, and maintaining incentive logic for partner ecosystems.
This is a customer-facing role that requires close collaboration with cross-functional business and technical teams to configure and manage robust, scalable, and auditable compensation models.

Key Responsibilities:
•             Design, develop, and configure Varicent ICM components including data models, workflows, reports, and calculation logic.
•             Translate business rules and partner incentive structures into scalable compensation models.
•             Collaborate with Sales Ops, Finance, and Channel Teams to gather requirements, validate logic, and ensure compliance.
•             Develop and maintain ETL processes and data pipelines to ingest and process partner sales data from multiple systems.
•             Perform unit testing and data validation to ensure the accuracy and integrity of calculated incentives.
•             Support UAT and resolve defects or enhancements based on stakeholder feedback.
•             Create and maintain technical documentation, including configuration guides and data flow diagrams.
•             Monitor and optimize system performance, ensuring timeliness and accuracy of incentive payments.
•             Provide post-implementation support and enhancements as business needs evolve.

Qualifications:
•             5+ years of hands-on experience in Varicent ICM (IBM Varicent) development.
•             Proven experience implementing Partner Incentive Programs or similar compensation structures.
•             Strong understanding of SQL, data modeling, and ETL tools.
•             Experience working with source systems (CRM, ERP, Partner Portals, etc.) and integrating data into Varicent.
•             Familiarity with complex incentive logic, including tiers, accelerators, and partner hierarchy management.
•             Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
•             Excellent communication skills to interact with both technical and business stakeholders.
•             Experience in Agile/Scrum environments is a plus.
Preferred:
•                    Experience with channel/partner ecosystems in SaaS or Tech companies.
•                    Knowledge of incentive governance, auditability, and compliance requirements.
•                    Varicent certifications (developer or admin) are a strong plus.
