Vantage/RPS Developer

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for 12+ years of experience Mainframe Vantage/RPS Developer expert with Agile methodology.

Technical Skills:

• Must have experience on Life Admin Systems/ Life Insurance, Annuity products
• Must have min 5 years of experience in Vantage/RPS
• Min 5 years of experience in development of policy administration system (COBOL)
• Min 5 years of experience in development/maintenance and Support projects of Mainframe preferably Cobol, VSAM and DB2.
• Min 5 yrs of experience in SQL
• Must have good knowledge of Policy Administration System design and architecture
• Should be expert in COBOL-DB2, COBOL-VSAM programming
• Should be capable of working on stored procedures
• Should be capable of debugging complex scenarios
• Should be able to work and deliver independently
• Must be aware of new technologies and market updates with respect to Life and Annuity business
• Having Life insurance certifications such as LOMA will be added advantage
• Good to have CICS working knowledge.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Participate in project planning sessions with project managers, business analysts and team members to analyze business requirements and design the proposed IT solution.
• Participate in design reviews and provide input to the design recommendations and provide input to information/ data flow and understand and comply to Project Life Cycle Methodology in all planning steps.
• Adhere to IT Control Policies throughout design, development and testing and incorporate Corporate Architectural Standards into application design specifications.
• Document High Level and Low-Level technical specifications.
• Good communication, problem solving & interpersonal skills

Qualification:

• Somebody who has at least 12+ years’ experience Mainframe Vantage/RPS Developer.
• Education qualification: Any degree from a reputed college.
