Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Design Excellence: Create high-quality, innovative, and user-friendly designs for e-commerce websites and mobile applications using Figma and Adobe XD.
  • Wireframing & Prototyping: Develop detailed wireframes, prototypes, and mockups to demonstrate the flow and functionality of designs.
  • UI/UX Development: Ensure designs align with best practices in UX and accessibility while maintaining brand guidelines.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, business analysts and tech leads and stakeholders, to translate requirements into design concepts.
  • Design System Management: Develop and maintain design systems and component libraries in Figma or Adobe XD for consistency across projects.
  • Research & Analysis: Conduct user research and analyze customer feedback to optimize designs for usability and conversion.
  • Trend Monitoring: Stay updated with the latest design trends, tools, and technologies in the e-commerce and mobile app domains.
  • Mentorship: Lead and mentor junior designers, providing guidance on design principles and fostering a culture of creativity and innovation.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in UI/UX design, with a strong portfolio showcasing e-commerce websites and mobile app designs.
  • Tools: Expertise in Figma and Adobe XD, with proficiency in other design tools (e.g., Sketch, Illustrator, Photoshop) being a plus.

Knowledge:

  • Strong understanding of user experience principles, responsive design, and mobile-first approaches.
  • Familiarity with e-commerce workflows, payment systems, and conversion optimization techniques.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS for communicating with development teams.
