UI/UX developer

Responsibilities

• Ensure responsive UI development; adapt development as needed per client requirements.
• Responsible for helping create futuristic yet realistic interfaces and UI/UX strategies based on the operational workflow derived from the interactions with clients as well as our internal teams.
• Create custom, general use modules and components which extend the elements and modules of core AngularJS.
• Assess and develop high level design requirements for project and communicate in writing or in meetings with development team. Assess detailed specifications against design requirements.
• Ensure a clear dependency chain, in regard to the app logic as well as the file system.
• Create and maintain digital assets, including wireframes, interactive mockups, get involved in frequent feedback discussions before the implementation.

Required Skills

• Must have a strong UX & Design portfolio that demonstrates past design projects.
• Proficiency with JavaScript and HTML5.
• Extensive knowledge of CSS and JS methods for providing performant visual effects and keeping the framerate above 30fps at all times.
• Strong proficiency in CSS3, HTML5, JQuery, Bootstrap, or equivalent.
• Up-to-date knowledge of design software like Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Excellent documentation and presentation skills.
• Team spirit; strong communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders.
• Ability to provide quick decisive feedback.
• Must possess strong, professional verbal and written communication skills.

Required Experience

• 5 years professional experience in building UI.
• 2+ years solid experience in Angular2+.
• Proven work experience as a UI/UX Designer or similar role UI/UX for PowerBI visualizations.
• Hands on experience using SASS & SCSS.
• Working experience in TDD, BDD and DDD.
• Hands on experience working within AGILE Development methodology.

Education Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a closely related field.
