Description

Responsibilities:
  • Design user interfaces (UI) for web and mobile applications with a focus on usability and aesthetic appeal.
  • Conduct user research and gather insights to create intuitive and user-centered designs.
  • Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups using design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (developers, product managers) to ensure designs are implemented accurately.
  • Create and maintain design systems and style guides for consistency across products.
  • Conduct usability testing to gather feedback and iterate on designs.
  • Ensure designs are responsive and work seamlessly across various screen sizes and devices.
  • Stay updated with the latest design trends, tools, and technologies.
  • Work closely with developers to ensure the technical feasibility and implementation of designs.
Requirements and skills :
  • User Research – Conducting surveys, interviews, and usability testing.
  • User Personas & Journey Mapping – Understanding user needs and mapping their experience.
  • Wireframing & Prototyping – Creating low/high-fidelity wireframes using tools like Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch.
  • Information Architecture – Structuring content for better navigation and usability.
  • Usability Testing – Analyzing user feedback to improve designs.
  • Visual Design Principles – Typography, color theory, spacing, and layout.
  • Design Systems & Components – Maintaining consistency across interfaces.
  • Responsive & Adaptive Design – Designing for different screen sizes.
  • Basic Animation & Micro-interactions – Using tools like Figma or After Effects.
  • UI Tools & Software – Proficiency in Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch.
  • Adobe Illustrator – Creating icons, vector graphics, and UI assets.
  • Adobe Photoshop – Editing images, creating mockups, and refining UI elements.
  • Raster vs. Vector Understanding – Knowing when to use Photoshop (raster) and Illustrator (vector) in UI/UX design.
  • UI Mockups & Enhancements – Refining designs with textures, shadows, and effects.
  • Basic HTML, CSS, JavaScript (Optional) – Understanding front-end helps in collaboration with developers.
  • Collaboration & Communication – Working with developers, product managers, and stakeholders.
