UI Developer

Responsibilities

• Work with development teams across the globe who use the library to get feedback and enhancement requests.
• Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle.
• Ensure designs are in compliance with specifications.
• Prepare and produce releases of software components.
• Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review.

Required Skills

• Knowledge of Git and Jenkins or TeamCity (or other CI platform).
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal English, which are critical to interfacing with stakeholders.
• Must be a team player and proactive in helping other teammates to achieve the team deliverables.
• Must be able to work independently with minimal guidance.
• Must have ability to translate requirements provided by Business Analysts and provide wire framing design.

Required Experience

• Strong design and UX experience with proven ability to deliver great experience.
• Experience with Jira and Confluence.
• Experience with automation tools such as Autosys, BladeLogic and scripting languages.
• Scripting with Shell, Perl and or Python is a plus.
• Experience connecting to and using Enterprise Databases and Middleware.
• Experience of modern web technologies, including Javascript or ideally Typescript, CSS3 and webpack.

Education Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a closely related field.
