Treasury Data Engineer

Web Synergies is looking for a skilled Treasury Data Engineer with 6+ years of experience to join our team. The role will focus on managing and optimising data pipelines, supporting transformation projects, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and financial reporting standards within a Tier 1 bank environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strong track record of data management and execution in transformation projects.
• Manage data and operate models in a Tier 1 Bank environment.
• Develop and maintain ETL frameworks and data pipelines using SQL, Python, and Scala.
• Work with cloud-based data solutions such as AWS, BigQuery, and Azure.
• Implement and manage API integrations, real-time data processing, and automation solutions.
• Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and regulatory requirements.
• Work closely with senior stakeholders to bridge business and technical requirements.
• Apply knowledge of financial risk management (FX, interest rate, liquidity risk) in daily operations.
• Support machine learning models for treasury forecasting.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 6+ years of overall experience, with 2+ years in data management.
• Experience with SAP products for planning and outlook.
• Expertise in SQL, Python, or Scala.
• Strong understanding of financial risk management and treasury operations.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, BigQuery, Azure).
• Knowledge of data governance, compliance, and reporting.
• Familiarity with financial reporting, audit processes, and regulatory compliance.
• Proven ability to bridge business requirements with technical solutions
