Tosca Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Tricentis Tosca.
• Lead the implementation of Tosca automation frameworks across multiple projects.
• Collaborate with QA analysts, developers, and business stakeholders to understand testing requirements.
• Conduct test planning, scripting, execution, and reporting for functional, regression, and end-to-end testing.
• Mentor and guide junior QA engineers on Tosca best practices.
• Integrate Tosca with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Git).
• Create and maintain test data and test environments.
• Troubleshoot issues related to automation scripts, test data, and Tosca configurations.
• Continuously improve test coverage, test strategy, and automation processes.
• Ensure compliance with software quality standards and regulatory requirements.

Skills
Must have

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in software testing with at least 5+ years of hands-on experience in Tricentis Tosca.
• Deep understanding of Tosca Modules, Test Cases, Test Data Management, and ExecutionLists.
• Experience with Tosca integrations (e.g., qTest, Jira, Jenkins).
• Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.
• Excellent troubleshooting and debugging skills.
• Strong communication, leadership, and collaboration abilities.

Nice to have

• Tricentis Tosca certification (e.g., Automation Specialist 1 & 2, Test Design Specialist).
• Experience in API, database, or performance testing.
• Exposure to SAP, Salesforce, or other enterprise applications.
• Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., VBScript, JavaScript) is a plus.
• Exposure of testing mainframe application is an added advantage.
