Testing Lead

About the Role:

As a Testing Lead, you will be responsible for end-to-end test management, leading the testing strategy, execution, and delivery of SAP-based projects. Your expertise in test methodologies, project management, and SAP testing tools will be essential in ensuring high-quality outcomes. This role requires excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and business leaders.

This is a 6-month B2B contract, with a strong possibility of extension. The role is fully remote within the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the testing phase for SAP-based implementations, ensuring efficient and high-quality execution.
• Develop and implement test strategies, methodologies, and frameworks to align with project objectives.
• Oversee test planning, execution, defect management, and reporting across various project phases.
• Utilize testing tools like Mercury Tool Set (or similar) to manage and track testing activities effectively.
• Ensure effective stakeholder engagement, providing regular updates to leadership and technical teams.
• Manage a team of testers, providing direction, support, and ensuring adherence to best practices.
• Drive continuous improvements in testing processes, tools, and methodologies.
• Stay updated on SAP testing technologies, including tools like eCATT, and introduce innovative approaches where applicable.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

Must-Have:

✔ 8-10 years of experience in Test Management, particularly in SAP environments.
✔ Strong project management skills with a track record of successful test leadership.
✔ Experience managing the testing for at least three SAP-based implementations.
✔ Deep understanding of testing methodologies and best practices.
✔ High-level knowledge of SAP systems and their testing requirements.
✔ Proficiency with Mercury Tool Set (or similar) for test execution and tracking.
✔ Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
✔ Strong people management and leadership abilities.

Good-to-Have (Desirable):

➕ Familiarity with additional SAP testing technologies (e.g., eCATT).
➕ Knowledge of process modeling tools and techniques.
➕ Experience in pre-sales activities related to testing services.
