Job Description
Purpose:
- The purpose of MEDES Program Project II is to expand the eligibility and enrollment system initially implemented for Medicaid MAGI populations to include other benefit programs administered through the State’s Department of Social Services (DSS).
- Simultaneous with the expansion efforts will be the ongoing maintenance and completion of previously implemented functionalities supporting MAGI-based Medicaid benefits. This includes general M&O services, SNAP, TANF, Financials, Plan Enrollment, ECM Phase 2, and EVS.
- The solution(s) implemented to fulfill the expectations of these expansions and completions of functionality will necessarily integrate with existing Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) products like Cúram, Informatica and the shared Enterprise Service Bus (ESB). The solution will also leverage reusability to both meet the deadlines of Project II and build the platform for success in Project III.
Project Goals:
- Provides a consistent customer experience through easy to understand and navigate interfaces

- Provides a state-hosted technology solution for program eligibility determination and management that fully interfaces and/or integrates with the existing Cúram Social Services platform

Performance Requirements
Testing Coordination:
- Coordination of UAT efforts across all releases.
- No more than 5% missing coordination tasks monthly.
Test Planning
- Maintain up-to-date test plans and schedules.
- Plans updated within 2 business days of changes
Traceability
- Maintain test requirement traceability documentation.
- Complete accurate traceability maintained.
Documentation
- Maintain federally required documentation.
- No critical omissions or compliance issues.
Requirements:
- 5+ years’ experience coordinating testing efforts and planning/managing both DDI & M&O release efforts.
- 5+ years’ experience software testing and release management. This includes familiarity with testing tools, methodologies, and best practices as well as experience with release management processes and tools.
- 5+ years’ experience in project management capabilities, including the ability to plan, execute, and monitor testing and release activities effectively. This includes risk management, resource allocation and timeline management.
- 5+ years’ experience in communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders, including state agencies, healthcare providers, and other vendors involved in the Medicaid program.
