About the Role:
As a Test Manager, you will lead and support a team of approximately 11 test engineers, ensuring high-quality testing and verification of products. You will oversee environmental, EMC, and optics tests, collaborating closely with optical experts and quality teams to maintain and enhance testing standards.
In this role, you will be responsible for resource planning, team development, and process improvements, ensuring compliance with ISO17025 standards. Your leadership will play a key role in driving strategic investments in equipment and staff competence, helping to shape the future of the test laboratory.
This is a 6-month B2B contract with a strong possibility of extension.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, coach, and support a team of 11 test engineers to meet project and company goals.
- Oversee test execution for environmental, EMC, and optics tests throughout the product lifecycle.
- Ensure high-quality testing processes in line with ISO17025 accreditation.
- Manage resource planning, project prioritization, and process improvements.
- Collaborate with optical experts and engineering teams to enhance test methodologies.
- Maintain compliance with work safety regulations and laboratory quality standards.
- Drive strategy, equipment investments, and competency development for future testing needs.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience as a Test Manager or similar leadership role.
- Strong background in testing, product verification, and test development.
- Experience with ISO17025 accreditation and quality management in test labs.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and modern testing frameworks.
- Excellent communication skills in both Swedish and English.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to foster collaboration and innovation.
- University degree in Electronic Engineering or equivalent experience.
