Job Summary
Assist the Delivery Manager in defining the overall testing approach and solutions across various application layers including Data Platforms, Services, UI, and other core components.
Possess domain expertise in Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) and demonstrate experience in Quality Engineering delivery for large-scale initiatives, handling end-to-end testing across multiple modules with coordination of third-party vendors.
Strong functional understanding of SAP modules such as FICO, ISU, MM, PM, and PS.
Advocate the adoption of QA frameworks, tools, and documentation. Contribute to the development of knowledge assets, evaluation frameworks, and technical guidelines.
Proven experience in formulating testing strategies for different testing types, including Data Migration, Data and ETL Validation, Functional Testing, Workflow Testing, and System Integration Testing within S/4HANA environments.
In-depth knowledge of data querying techniques and hands-on experience in validating ETL processes.
Ensure compliance with data governance standards throughout migration efforts. Support data mapping from legacy platforms to S/4HANA and validate the accuracy and consistency of migrated data.
Maintain detailed documentation of data migration processes and logs of processed datasets.
Lead Agile-based project deliveries, managing all testing activities within Sprint cycles.
Accountable for test strategy creation, planning, and estimation in support of the Test Manager.
Facilitate collaboration and task coordination between onsite and offshore QA teams, including the review of technical deliverables.
Identify opportunities for process enhancements, contribute to QA standards, and help define best practices across test initiatives.
Prepare test summary documentation and related quality metrics for reporting purposes.
Demonstrate understanding of insurance policy administration workflows and be able to clearly communicate technical matters to development teams, while also interpreting technical direction provided by them.
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including Development, QA, Release Management, and Operations.
Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
Preferred experience in Continuous Integration practices and familiarity with tools related to build, deployment, and version control. Exposure to automation tools such as UFT, Selenium, and TOSCA is a plus.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 8+ years of experience in Quality Engineering or Software Testing, with at least 3 years in a leadership or test strategy role.
Strong domain knowledge in Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) and hands-on experience with SAP modules such as FICO, ISU, MM, PM, and PS.
Proven expertise in end-to-end testing across multi-tiered application environments including data platforms, services, and UI layers.
Solid experience with data migration and validation processes, particularly within S/4HANA environments.
Proficiency in ETL testing and strong SQL/data querying skills.
Familiarity with data governance, data mapping, and data integrity validation principles.
Experience working within Agile delivery frameworks, with an ability to manage testing activities in iterative sprints.
Knowledge of QA automation and testing tools such as UFT, Selenium, and TOSCA.
Understanding of Continuous Integration, deployment practices, and version control systems.
Strong documentation skills and experience in preparing test strategies, test plans, summary reports, and QA metrics.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams including Development, QA, Release, and Operations.
Experience coordinating teams across onsite and offshore locations.
Ability to articulate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
