Roles and Responsibilities
Must Have Skills
- Functional Testing: Hands-on experience in functional testing, demonstrating a good understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.
- Scrum/Agile Experience: Proven experience working in Scrum or Agile development environments, with a good understanding of Agile principles. The candidate should be comfortable participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and be able to adapt testing processes to the Agile framework.
- API Testing: Hands-on experience in API Testing using Postman.
- Java: Skilled in Java programming with a solid grasp of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and collections
- Automation Experience: Expertise in automation testing (Selenium and/or Karate) including test data management, Behaviour-Driven Development (BDD), cross browser testing and reporting.
Good To Have Skills
- Git/GitHub Proficiency:
- Demonstrate ability to check in code, collaborate effectively, and manage version control using Git/GitHub
- Continuous Integration:
- Demonstrate proficiency in utilizing automated testing solutions within CI/CD pipelines, using Jenkins and/or GitHub Actions
- 2+ Years of Testing Experience, preferably in Education Domain
