Test Automation Lead

-- This is not a Java Developer role, but a Lead Tester role primarily focused on Test Automation
- Requires 7+ years of overall experience, with 5+ years in API testing
- Must have experience with Selenium (UI test automation) and Rest Assured (API Test automation)
- Soft skills: Proactive and initiative-taking
- Must be available in office 3 days per week
- Requires advanced test automation experience, CI / CD experience, and strong communication and leadership skills
- Background in Java / J2EE technologies required for Glider test
- Experience with Microservices is necessary
- Top skills: Automation testing (UI and API) Junit, Jbehave, Spring, Selenium frameworks Java
- Experience working on large production systems with high transaction volumes
- Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills
- Familiarity with continuous integration tools such as Bamboo, Jenkins, Chef, Cruise Control etc.
- Experience with code coverage and health reporting tools such as Sonar
- Ideal candidate should have advanced testing frameworks and techniques knowledge, cloud development experience (PCF, AWS, Azure), ability to innovate and develop new approaches to complex design problems, experience with architectural patterns including high performance, high availability transaction processing systems and multi-tiered web applications, self-motivation, collaborative spirit, ability to define and elaborate functional and non-functional requirements, familiarity with secure coding standards and vulnerability management, test-driven development skills, understanding of defect management processes, ability to orchestrate release workflows and pipelines to enhance CICD using orchestration tools (e.g. Jenkins) and problem-solving orientation
