Test Automation Engineer Playwright NETC

Job Summary

Selective Insurance is looking for a skilled Automation Test Engineer with handson experience in Playwright and NET technologies and API testing using Rest Assured

You will be responsible for designing developing and executing automated test scripts to ensure highquality software delivery across web applications built on the Microsoft stack

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop UI automated test scripts using Playwright with CNET

Design and Develop API automated test scripts using Rest Assured

Collaborate with developers and QA leads to understand business and functional requirements

Integrate test automation into CICD pipelines eg Azure DevOps Jenkins

Maintain and enhance existing test automation frameworks

Identify test scenarios suitable for automation and prioritize accordingly

Perform functional regression and endtoend testing of the application under test

 

Required Skills

5 years of experience in test automation

Strong handson experience with Playwright using C

Solid understanding of NET FrameworkCore

Experience testing REST APIs and using tools like Rest Assured or automated API testing frameworks

Proficient with CICD tools such as Azure DevOps Jenkins or GitHub Actions

Experience in writing end to end and integration tests in NET

Familiarity with BDD frameworks like Spec Flow optional

Strong debugging problemsolving and analytical skills

Exposure to containerized environments DockerKubernetes is an advantage

Knowledge of SQL and working with databases

Soft Skills

Good verbal and written communication

Ability to work independently and in an AgileScrum team environment

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
