Develop and maintain a wide range of technical documents, including user manuals,system guides, process documentation, and policy documents specific to the banking domain.
working with internal teams on product and document requirements.
Create product documentation for a range of audience groups (system administrators, application developers, and users)
Work closely with the writers to ensure clarity, completeness, accuracy, and compliance to organizational standards in documentation.
Mentor junior writers to improve writing skills and educate them in writing practices.
Review, Edit and Rework user documentation based on Client or Internal review comments.
Ensure that all documentation adheres to regulatory compliance standards in the banking industry.
Maintain version control of documents to track changes and updates.
Provide support to end-users by creating user-friendly guides and FAQs to help themunderstand banking processes and systems.
Manage and organize the documentation repository for easy access and retrieval.
Help improve existing documentation processes, standards, frameworks, and templates.
Qualification/ Prerequisites:
4-5 years of experience as a Technical Writer, preferably in the banking or financial services sector.
Commercial online banking applications knowledge will be a plus. (UOB, Q2, BT)
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word.
Excellent understanding of the English grammar, style, and writing standards
Conversant with technology and happy working with technology
Ability to understand software products and their application to business processes.
Strong interpersonal skills, good team player, self-motivated and flexible
Ability to work independently with set deadlines and keep multiple projects on track at thesame time.
