Jobs Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a wide range of technical documents, including user manuals,system guides, process documentation, and policy documents specific to the banking domain.
  • working with internal teams on product and document requirements.
  • Create product documentation for a range of audience groups (system administrators, application developers, and users)
  • Work closely with the writers to ensure clarity, completeness, accuracy, and compliance to organizational standards in documentation.
  • Mentor junior writers to improve writing skills and educate them in writing practices.
  • Review, Edit and Rework user documentation based on Client or Internal review comments.
  • Ensure that all documentation adheres to regulatory compliance standards in the banking industry.
  • Maintain version control of documents to track changes and updates.
  • Provide support to end-users by creating user-friendly guides and FAQs to help themunderstand banking processes and systems.
  • Manage and organize the documentation repository for easy access and retrieval.
  • Help improve existing documentation processes, standards, frameworks, and templates.

Qualification/ Prerequisites:

  • 4-5 years of experience as a Technical Writer, preferably in the banking or financial services sector.
  • Commercial online banking applications knowledge will be a plus. (UOB, Q2, BT)
     
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word.
     
  • Excellent understanding of the English grammar, style, and writing standards
     
  • Conversant with technology and happy working with technology
     
  • Ability to understand software products and their application to business processes.
     
  • Strong interpersonal skills, good team player, self-motivated and flexible
     
  • Ability to work independently with set deadlines and keep multiple projects on track at thesame time.
