Job Description: Job Title: Technical Writer Experience: 2 to 5 years Location: Bangalore (Work from Office) Notice Period: Immediate Joiner Job Role: The Technical Writer will be responsible for creating and maintaining high-quality technical documentation to support software products and services. This role requires close collaboration with development teams, subject matter experts, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and user-friendly content delivery. Responsibilities: ? Develop, organize, and maintain technical documents such as user manuals, API documentation, and installation guides. ? Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather, analyze, and document technical information. ? Translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise, and accessible content. ? Maintain consistency and adhere to established style guides and standards in all documentation. ? Utilize tools like Markdown, HTML, and XML to create, edit, and format documentation. ? Create visual aids, including diagrams, charts, and screenshots, to support technical content. ? Perform quality assurance checks on documentation to ensure accuracy and usability. ? Monitor feedback from users to continuously improve documentation quality. Requirements: ? Bachelor’s degree in Technical Communication, English, Computer Science, or a related field. ? 2 to 5 years of proven experience as a Technical Writer, preferably in the software industry. ? Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail. ? Proficiency in documentation tools such as Adobe FrameMaker, MadCap Flare, or similar. ? Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and version control systems like Git. ? Basic understanding of software development processes and programming concepts. ? Experience working in Agile development environments. ? Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. ? Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Technical Skills: Markdown, HTML, XML, Adobe FrameMaker, MadCap Flare, Content Management Systems (CMS), Version control tools (e.g., Git), Basic programming concepts, Agile methodologies.
