Technical Writer - AWS Documentation

You should have in-depth knowledge of at least one technical topic area related to :

Cybersecurity (penetration testing, cryptography, digital forensics, etc.)
Web hosting (Apache, NGINX, IIS, Linux server administration, etc.)
Software development (PHP, C++, C, Java, .NET/C#, etc.)

Your Role Will Be Multi-faceted And Will Include

Writing technical articles for our industry blogs.
Our blogs cover topics related to cybersecurity, IT, and web development and reach about 50 lakh readers annually.
Creating best practice guides, tutorials, and thought leadership content for software developers, cybersecurity professionals, and IT leaders.
Writing and contributing technical expert articles to well-known industry publications on topics related to IT Industry trends, cybersecurity, web hosting, and/or web development.

Desired Profile

The perfect candidate will have :

Technical knowledge and experience in areas relevant to SSL certificate installation :
Linux web server administration (Apache, NGINX, etc.)
Windows server administration (IIS, Exchange)
Management of CDNs and DNS
Knowledge/familiarity with environments/workflows where code signing is used:
Software development processes (IDEs, devops software like Jenkins, GitHub actions, etc.)
Some level of programming knowledge, especially one or more languages used for Windows desktop software development such as .NET, Java, C++, etc.
Knowledge of Windows administration, including security features such as User account Control, Smartscreen, Group Policies, etc.
Very strong ability to solve problems and figure things out :
Able to take a high-level objective such as install an SSL certificate in X environment and figure out the correct process end to end
Anticipates problems our readers might have and proactively explains how to solve them
Able to think through the use case, identify common variations that users may have, and provide a solution that will work for most/all users and follows best practices
Strong written communication skills in English
Knowledge of relevant writing best practices :
Able to write an article that is well-structured and flows well
SEO writing basics
Best practices for writing engaging and skimmable articles

Education : A candidate should hold a tech degree whether its BCA, MCA, or Engineering from reputed TECH universities.
