We’re looking for Technical tester

Background

· Prior experience in food production, manufacturing, or supply chain apps is highly beneficial.

· Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment, using tools like JIRA, Azure DevOps, or

· Understanding of Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) could be helpful if integrated with your system.

Scope of the consultant services

Main tasks in the assignment

1. Test Planning & Strategy

· Understand business requirements and functional specifications.

· Define test strategies for both manual and automated testing.

· Develop test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on user stories and requirements.

2. Functional & Regression Testing

· Perform manual testing to validate UI, workflow, and business logic.

· Identify and document defects using tools like Azure DevOps, JIRA,

· Conduct regression testing to ensure new updates do not break existing functionality.

3. Automation Testing

· Develop automated test scripts for web applications using tools like

· Implement and maintain test suites for continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD).

4. API & Integration Testing

· Test RESTful APIs

· Validate API responses, request payloads, and error handling.

5. Performance & Load Testing

· Identify performance bottlenecks and collaborate with developers to optimize the app.

6. Security & Compliance Testing

· Identify security risks

· Verify role-based access

7. Collaboration & Reporting

· Work closely with developers, product owners, and DevOps teams to ensure quality.

· Report test results, defects, and recommendations in clear, structured formats.

· Participate in Agile ceremonies (daily standups, sprint planning, retrospectives).

Following competences must be fulfilled:

1. Technical Skills

· Testing expertise: Manual & automated testing, regression, API, and integration testing.

· API & Database: REST API testing (Postman, RestAssured) and SQL for data validation.

· Performance & Security: Familiarity with JMeter/k6 and basic security testing (OWASP).

· DevOps & Cloud: Experience with CI/CD (Azure DevOps, Jenkins) and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS).

2. Business & Domain Knowledge

· Understanding of food production, retail, or manufacturing processes.

· Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations).

3. Soft Skills

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Clear communication and documentation abilities.

· Agile mindset; experience with JIRA, Azure DevOps, or TestRail
