Key Responsibilities
Install, configure, and maintain Windows client and server environments.
Design, configure, and manage hardware including clustered and standalone servers, blade servers, VMware environments, and storage solutions (RAID, SAN technologies).
Deploy and manage monitoring tools to ensure system health and performance.
Apply patches and maintain antivirus protection to meet customer security standards.
Develop, maintain, and update technical documentation for lab computing equipment.
Ensure all Windows servers are compliant with customer security requirements.
Manage server and storage hardware within the Data Center environment.
Provide 24/7 on-call support for critical system incidents as needed.
Lead the escalation process for support issues and critical incidents.
Analyze, define, and document technical requirements for system improvements.
Support the development and execution of enterprise strategic plans to mitigate risks, address gaps, and enable growth through new technologies.
Perform proactive maintenance, monitoring, and reporting to uphold infrastructure integrity.
Manage service tickets and resolve operational issues in a timely manner.
Participate in root cause analyses to improve system reliability.
Collaborate effectively with operations teams and key stakeholders across the organization.
Monitor Windows and Linux servers to identify and resolve performance and stability issues.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in system administration, infrastructure support, and lab operations.
Strong expertise in Windows Server environments, VMware, RAID, and SAN technologies.
Experience with server and storage hardware management in data centers.
Solid understanding of IT security standards and compliance.
Proficiency in monitoring tools, patch management, and antivirus solutions.
Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and documentation skills.
Ability to work independently and provide 24/7 support as required.
Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
