Key Responsibilities:

  1. Client Engagement and Relationship Management:
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for BFS clients, fostering strong relationships built on trust and understanding.
    • Conduct regular meetings with clients to assess their technological needs, provide updates on ongoing projects, and identify opportunities for enhancement.
    • Act as a strategic advisor, offering insights into emerging technologies and best practices relevant to the BFS sector.
  2. Technology Solution Development and Implementation:
    • Collaborate with internal technical teams to develop customized solutions tailored to the specific requirements of BFS clients.
    • Lead the design and implementation of technology projects, ensuring alignment with client objectives, budgetary constraints, and regulatory requirements.
    • Oversee the delivery of technology solutions, monitoring progress and resolving any issues or challenges that may arise.
  3. Strategic Planning and Innovation:
    • Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies shaping the BFS landscape.
    • Identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation within BFS accounts, proposing new technology initiatives or enhancements to existing systems.
    • Develop strategic roadmaps in collaboration with BFS clients, outlining the long-term vision for technology integration and digital transformation.
  4. Risk Management and Compliance:
    • Ensure that technology solutions adhere to regulatory standards and compliance requirements applicable to the BFS sector.
    • Conduct risk assessments and implement measures to mitigate potential cybersecurity threats or data breaches.
    • Stay informed about industry-specific security protocols and proactively address any vulnerabilities or gaps in the technology infrastructure.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
  • Extensive experience in a technical role within the BFS domain, with a deep understanding of banking processes, financial products, and regulatory requirements.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering technology projects for BFS clients, preferably in a client-facing capacity.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
