Technical Project Manager – ERP

Job Summary:

We are looking for a seasoned Technical Project Manager (Digital, ERP & Emerging Tech (Retail Industry)) to lead the delivery of complex, cross-functional solutions across digital platforms, ERP systems (SAP), and emerging technologies (AI/ML/GenAI) for Retail industry clients. This role demands a unique blend of business acumen, technical depth, and delivery excellence to translate strategic objectives into actionable project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

End-to-End Project Delivery
– Lead digital transformation, ERP modernization, and AI/ML-driven solution projects for retail customers.
– Develop detailed project plans, track milestones, manage budgets, and ensure timely delivery.
Customer Engagement & Business Analysis
– Collaborate with retail business stakeholders to understand pain points, processes, and innovation needs.
– Translate business requirements into technical roadmaps and solution architecture in collaboration with domain experts.
Technical Oversight & Innovation
– Guide teams across diverse technology stacks—digital (web/mobile platforms), SAP (S/4HANA, ECC), integration layers, and AI/ML frameworks.
– Stay abreast of evolving technology trends (e.g., GenAI, cloud-native, architectures, composable commerce) and proactively recommend innovations.
Cross-Functional Leadership
– Lead cross-functional teams of developers, analysts, ERP consultants, and data scientists across geographies.
– Ensure alignment across technical, functional, and business teams through structured governance and communication.
Quality, Risk & Compliance
– Drive quality assurance, risk management, and compliance with industry standards and security protocols, especially in retail domains like POS, eCommerce, and supply chain.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field.
• Proven experience managing complex technical programs across ERP (SAP), digital platforms, and AI/ML initiatives.
• Deep understanding of:
  o Retail industry processes (e.g., inventory, supply chain, merchandising, customer experience)
  o SAP modules (e.g., SD, MM, FICO) and integration frameworks
  o Cloud technologies and data platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP, Snowflake, Databricks)
  o AI/ML workflows and GenAI solutioning
• Strong knowledge of Agile/Hybrid delivery methodologies.
• Excellent stakeholder communication, conflict resolution, and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• SAP project management certification (e.g., Activate)
• Experience with AI/ML platforms like TensorFlow, Azure ML, or OpenAI
• Familiarity with retail analytics, personalization engines, and omnichannel integration
• Experience working in global delivery models (onshore/offshore)
