Technical Project Manager

Key Responsibilities:

Cloud Migration Leadership:

• Own the roadmap for migrating on-premises applications to Azure, translating business goals into actionable technical requirements and deliverables.
• Collaborate with Azure architects and developers to ensure a seamless migration strategy and execution.

Backlog & Product Management:

• Develop, prioritize, and manage the product backlog for the migration team, ensuring alignment with business priorities and Azure best practices.
• Define and document functional and non-functional requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and use cases.

Stakeholder Communication & Collaboration:

• Act as the primary point of contact between business stakeholders, technical teams, and Azure cloud architects.
• Communicate migration plans, technical requirements, risks, and timelines to all stakeholders.

Agile & Scrum Facilitation:

• Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives) to track progress and resolve blockers.
• Ensure Agile best practices are followed throughout the project lifecycle.

Risk Management & Quality Assurance:

• Identify potential risks and blockers early, propose solutions, and work with teams to develop mitigation strategies.
• Oversee testing and validation of migrated applications to meet performance, security, and compliance standards.

Continuous Improvement & Cost Management:

• Optimize cloud costs by collaborating with finance teams and cloud engineers to ensure budget adherence.
• Continuously improve migration processes, tools, and workflows for efficiency and quality.

Performance Monitoring & Success Metrics:

• Define and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and success metrics to measure the effectiveness of migration efforts.
• Oversee the full lifecycle of the migration, including post-migration monitoring and optimization.

Qualifications & Experience:

• 10+ years of experience in Technical Project Management, Cloud DevOps, or Product Ownership, with a focus on cloud migration.
• Proven experience in managing Azure cloud migrations or cloud-native application development.
• Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure, Agile methodologies, and DevOps best practices.
• Hands-on experience in stakeholder management, backlog prioritization, and sprint execution.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interface with business and technical teams.

Desirable Skills:

• Experience working with cost optimization strategies for Azure cloud environments.
• Knowledge of compliance and security standards in cloud migration.
• Certification in Azure, Agile, or Product Management is a plus
