Job Description: Technical Lead (Retirement Services Platform)

Client updates: This is a technical role. Tech lead is domain agnostic, just a technical person with the following skillset will be fine. Skills : Cobol/Omni Script/Scheduling/Shell Scripts. Need to have financial / insurance client experience. Retirement service is not mandatory. Good if they have any knowledge of either retirement services or annuities, or group benefits but not required.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the technical delivery of retirement services platform implementation and migration projects.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand technical requirements and translate them into detailed design and development plans.
  • Oversee the development, customization, and integration of the platform with existing systems.
  • Guide and mentor technical teams through the platform implementation lifecycle, ensuring adherence to best practices and standards.
  • Manage technical issues, troubleshooting, and debugging during implementation and migration.
  • Ensure seamless data migration, platform configuration, and testing across environments.
  • Work closely with the solutions architect and project management team to meet project goals and timelines.
  • Provide regular technical updates and status reports to client and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a technical lead in retirement services, annuities, or group benefits platform implementations (knowledge in FIS OMNI platform is preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of platform architecture, data migration, and integration processes.
  • Hands-on expertise in software development, system customization, and troubleshooting.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with a focus on client interaction.
  • Experience managing technical teams and delivering complex projects on time.
