Technical Data Solution Architect

Job Description:-

Key Responsibilities:

Design and lead end-to-end architecture for data platforms, pipelines, and analytics solutions.

Translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and reliable data architectures.

Define standards and best practices for data modeling, data integration, and data governance.

Collaborate with engineering and infrastructure teams to implement data architecture in cloud and hybrid environments.

Architect and optimize data lakes, data warehouses, and real-time streaming platforms.

Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies, and frameworks for data ingestion, processing, storage, and analytics.

Guide and support data engineering and BI teams in implementing data solutions that meet design specifications.

Ensure data security, privacy, and compliance with relevant standards and regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).

Develop data architecture documentation including data flows, architecture diagrams, and metadata standards.

Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams and solution stakeholders.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.

7+ years of experience in data engineering, data architecture, or solution architecture.

Proven experience designing and building enterprise-scale data solutions.

Strong understanding of relational and non-relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).

Expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud—especially in data services (e.g., AWS Redshift, Azure Synapse, BigQuery).

Experience with data pipeline and ETL tools (e.g., Apache Airflow, Informatica, Talend, dbt).

Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.

Familiarity with data warehousing, data lakes, data mesh, and data fabric concepts.

Deep knowledge of data governance, metadata management, data lineage, and master data management (MDM).

Strong understanding of security frameworks and compliance standards (e.g., SOC 2, GDPR, CCPA).
