Strong background in Troubleshooting and Resolving Optical Networking/DWDM Equipment
Communicate effectively both verbally and in written
Demonstrated ability to determine problems and deliver known solutions
Determine root cause and resolution for previously unknown problems

Experience with handling and resolving critical customer issues/problems

Previous Customer Support experience
Database experience (Oracle, SQL, Sybase)
Unix experience
CCOS certification (either SONET or SDH)
CCNA, CCNP, or higher networking certification
BS in CS or EE or equivalent experience
Minimum Qualifications
5+ years with one or more Optical skills (SONET, DWDM, OC, SDH, ML, MSTP, etc)
5+ years solid understanding of Networking industry, products and protocols
5+ Years Strong analytical and in-depth troubleshooting skills for Optical/DWDM
