Technical Consultant - Workday

Key Skills: Workday, Workday HCM, ashboards, Analytics, Report Design

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Gather, analyze, and document reporting and analytics requirements from business stakeholders
• Design, develop, and configure custom reports using Workday Report Writer, Advanced Reports, and Composite Reports
• Build and maintain dashboards and Workday Prism Analytics (if applicable) to deliver actionable business insights
• Create and manage calculated fields to support complex reporting needs
• Ensure proper configuration and security setup for Workday reports and analytics
• Participate in System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Collaborate with functional and technical teams to resolve issues and deliver solutions aligned with business goals
• Maintain documentation related to report specifications, development, and deployment
• Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for reporting issues
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and clients to ensure successful report delivery and customer satisfaction

Skills Required:

Must-Have:

• Strong experience with Workday HCM reporting and analytics
• Proficient in Workday Report Writer, Advanced Reports, and Composite Reports
• Solid understanding of calculated fields and report security configuration in Workday
• Experience gathering and translating business requirements into technical solutions

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience with Workday Prism Analytics
• Familiarity with dashboards, scorecards, and visual data storytelling
• Exposure to Workday security roles and report permissions
• Basic understanding of Workday Studio or integration tools is a plus

Education: Bachelor's Degree in related field
