Team Lead

Key Responsibilities:

As a Technical Lead at CVS Health, the candidate will be responsible for advising a team in the development of critical applications within the healthcare industry. Key responsibilities include:

Designing, coding, and leading the development of cost-effective applications and solutions.

Understanding product requirements in Agile Features and assisting delivery teams in writing and breaking down Agile Stories and Tasks.

Acting as the lead technical contributor of business requirements to technical specifications.

Overseeing daily operations of multiple delivery teams, ensuring adherence to best practices and identifying process automation opportunities.

Identifying scope for testing, including performance, security, and accessibility testing.

Supporting the implementation of systems into production with limited direction.

Identifying and escalating issues blocking delivery.

Managing Code Asset Management for an application or set of applications.

Leading or acting as a subject matter expert for the assigned project.

Desired Profile/Skills:

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.

5+ years of experience deploying applications to the cloud, integrated with cloud technologies (Azure, IBM, GCP).

5+ years of Node.JS and/or Java software development experience.

2+ years of experience leading development teams through CI/CD and DevSecOps.

Experience building conversational AI chatbots from scratch using AI, ML, and NLP technologies and development patterns.

Experience with Jenkins, Octopus, GitHub, and Splunk.

Familiarity with Postman & Swagger.

Experience with Integrations and APIs.

Understanding of data security practices, specific to HIPAA privacy and data protection requirements.

Knowledge of SAFE Agile methodology, working in a high-performance Agile environment.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Excellent leadership skills.

Preferred Requirements:

Knowledge of IBM Watson and other chatbot development platforms.

Understanding of PCI data governance requirements and technical practices.

Familiarity with Angular/React/JavaScript/CSS/HTML, Python.
