Description

Responsibilities:

  • Work on the end-to-end design and development of data integration solutions using Talend and ETL methodologies, ensuring alignment with business requirements and best practices.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, data architects, and analysts to understand data sources, requirements, and transformation rules for ETL processes.
  • Design and implement scalable and efficient ETL workflows using Talend, incorporating error handling, monitoring, and performance optimization techniques.
  • Perform data profiling, cleansing, and transformation to ensure data quality and integrity throughout the ETL pipeline.
  • Integrate ETL processes with source and target systems, databases, APIs, and third-party applications, ensuring seamless data flow and interoperability.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for ETL processes, data mappings, and system configurations, ensuring clarity and transparency for stakeholders.
  • Analyze stored procedures for performance optimization and implement the best practices when creating or maintaining the database objects.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a culture of learning and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues, resolve data anomalies, and optimize ETL performance.
  • Stay abreast of the latest Talend features, tools, and best practices, and make recommendations for process improvements and optimization.
  • Proactively identify and address technical challenges and bottlenecks, leveraging innovative solutions and industry best practices.

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field; master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in data integration, ETL development, or related field.
  • Proficiency in PL/SQL with expertise in designing Stored Procedures, Functions etc.
  • Proficiency in Talend Data Integration and Talend Administration Console, with experience in designing and implementing ETL processes.
  • Strong understanding of ETL concepts, methodologies, and best practices, including data modeling, schema design, and data warehousing principles.
  • Experience working with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra).
  • Knowledge of data governance, data security, and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with tight deadlines.
  • Talend certification (e.g., Talend Data Integration Certified Developer) preferred

Education

Bachelor's degree
