Roles & Responsibility

Responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining Talend environments to support our Teradata Data Lake / Lakehouse Platform. This role requires a deep understanding of Talend administration, server management, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
Installation and Configuration: Install, configure, and maintain Talend environments, including Talend Studio, Talend Administration Center (TAC), and Talend Data Integration.
Server Management: Manage server hardware and applications software, ensuring high availability and performance.
Monitoring and Tuning: Monitor and tune systems software and networks for optimal performance.
User Management: Create and manage user accounts, roles, and permissions within Talend environments.
Backup and Recovery: Perform system backups and disaster recovery operations to ensure data integrity and availability.
Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues related to Talend environments, including server and application problems.
Security: Implement security measures to protect data and ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of Talend configurations, processes, and procedures.
Collaboration: Work closely with developers, data architects, and other IT professionals to support data integration and ETL processes.
Technical Skills:
Must Have- Proficiency in Talend Studio, Talend Administration Center (TAC), and Talend Data Integration.
Strong understanding of server management, including Linux and Windows environments.
Experience with SQL and database management.
