Tableau Specialist

Job Summary
We are seeking a Tableau Specialist with expertise in data cleaning, transformation, and AI-driven analytics using Tableau Pulse, Tableau AI, and Tableau Agentforce. This role requires a deep understanding of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, advanced data visualization techniques, and AI-powered automation to enhance business intelligence and decision-making.
You will be responsible for designing interactive dashboards, automating insights with Tableau AI, and setting up real-time alerts with Tableau Pulse. Collaboration with data scientists, and business stakeholders will be key to delivering actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities
Tableau Development & AI-Driven Analytics:
· Design, develop, and optimize interactive Tableau dashboards with AI-powered insights.
· Utilize Tableau AI for predictive analytics, trend analysis, and automated recommendations.
· Implement Tableau Pulse for real-time notifications and proactive data-driven alerts.
· Leverage Tableau Agentforce to automate workflows and enhance data-driven decision-making.
· Ensure dashboard performance, scalability, and user-friendliness.

Data Cleaning & Transformation:
· Perform data cleansing, deduplication, and enrichment to improve accuracy.
· Use Tableau Prep, SQL, Python, or ETL tools for data transformation.
· Standardize naming conventions, missing values handling, and data validation processes.
· Work with large, complex datasets from multiple sources, ensuring data integrity and consistency.

ETL & Data Pipeline Management:
· Collaborate with data engineering teams to define ETL pipelines and data workflows.
· Extract and transform data from diverse sources (databases, APIs, cloud storage).
· Implement data aggregations, joins, and pivots for enhanced reporting efficiency.

Real-Time & Automated Insights with Tableau Pulse & Agentforce:
· Set up Tableau Pulse notifications to alert business users on key data changes.
· Automate insights and data workflows using Tableau Agentforce.
· Integrate AI-driven alerts and recommendations into business intelligence processes.
· Customize notification thresholds to deliver personalized, proactive insights.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement:
· Partner with business teams to gather analytics requirements and provide actionable insights.
· Provide training and support on Tableau AI, Pulse, and Agentforce capabilities.
· Document data transformation processes, AI automation logic, and dashboard workflows.

Required Skills & Experience
Technical Skills:
· Expertise in Tableau (Desktop, Server, Prep, and Cloud).
· Proficiency in Tableau AI, Tableau Pulse, and Tableau Agentforce.
· Strong SQL skills for data querying, transformation, and ETL workflows.
· Experience with Tableau Prep Builder for advanced data cleaning and transformation.
· Familiarity with Python (Pandas, NumPy) or R for advanced data processing (preferred).
· Understanding of ETL tools, data warehousing, and cloud-based analytics platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).

Data & AI-Driven Analytics Skills:
· Strong data wrangling, transformation, and automation capabilities.
· Experience working with real-time data alerts and AI-powered insights.
· Ability to optimize data models for efficient performance in Tableau AI and Pulse.
· Knowledge of machine learning and predictive analytics (a plus).

Soft Skills:
· Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking.
· Excellent communication skills to explain technical concepts to business stakeholders.
· Ability to work both independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
· Proactive approach to identifying and resolving data issues.

Preferred Qualifications:
· 5+ years of experience in Tableau development, data transformation, and AI analytics.
· Certification in Tableau Data Analyst, Tableau AI, or Tableau Prep (preferred).
· Experience with cloud-based analytics platforms and automation tools.
· Knowledge of People Analytics dataset is a plus.
